Privacy policy

Short version: your birth data never leaves your browser. We collect an email address only when you hand it to us, we never sell data, and you can have your record deleted with one email.

What stays on your device

Birth dates, birth times and names that you enter into the tools are computed entirely in your own browser. They are stored only in your browser's local storage, on your device, so the tools can remember your chart between visits. They are never sent to our servers, and we could not look at them if we wanted to.

After a purchase, your browser also holds a signed unlock token — a small cryptographic receipt that proves a payment happened. It contains the product name and an expiry date, nothing about you.

What we do collect

Email address — only when you type it in: subscribing to the WenYiJu Letter, joining a product waitlist, or checking out. We use it to send the Letter, product news and, for subscriptions, the reports you bought. Checkout email and payment records are held by Stripe, our payment processor; we never see or store your card number.

Purchase confirmation — when you return from Stripe checkout, our server checks that one payment with Stripe to issue your unlock token. The check uses the checkout session reference Stripe sends back; it stores no copy of your birth data, because it never receives any.

What we never do

We do not sell, rent or share your email address or any other personal data with advertisers or data brokers. We do not run third-party advertising trackers on this site.

Your choices

Unsubscribe from the Letter at any time — every email carries an unsubscribe path, and a plain reply asking to be removed works too.

Delete your record: write to hello@wenyiju.com from the address you used, and we will delete the email record we hold for you. To clear data stored in your own browser, clear this site's site data in your browser settings — that removes your charts and unlock tokens from the device (a purchase can be re-unlocked from your Stripe receipt; write to us and we will help).
